In a workshop in Germany, someone is painting the coat on a pewter Santa by hand, and in another, a wooden angel is getting the dots on its wings. Near Carrara, a pear is being carved out of marble. For more than twenty years, Jordanwood has brought the originals from those workshops to America. Each of the three has its own shop, and you are welcome to browse them all.

Wilhelm Schweizer pewter has been made by hand in Germany for more than 200 years. Each piece is hand-cast and hand-painted, so no two are painted exactly alike.

Wendt & Kühn figures have been carved and painted by hand in Grünhainichen, Germany, since 1915, and every piece still comes out to the same pattern.

Italian Marble Fruit

Italian Marble Fruit is sculpted and painted by hand near the marble quarries of Carrara, Italy. The alabaster grapes are carved in the medieval town of Volterra.
